The role-playing game Dungeons & Dragons helps an autistic boy named Ross better understand the complexities of social relationships.
Ten-year-old Ross is an imaginative boy with autism. The real world is unpredictable and full of sensory overload, so he prefers living inside his own head, filled with adventure and imagination. His creativity thrives in role-playing games; his favourite is Dungeons & Dragons. While playing, he practices letting go of control and improving his communication skills. Ross draws on his rich imagination to face the challenges of real life.
