Better Man

Does a stronger body make you a better man? Three young men confront questions of self-esteem and masculinity.

Animated documentary Better Man tells a story about three young men. For them, sport becomes a way of overcoming emotional trauma and low self-esteem. Each of them started training for different reasons: one was bullied at school for being too skinny, another was pushed by his father to go to the gym to lose weight, while the third grew up in an abusive household and longed to become stronger. All three eventually built muscular bodies. But does a stronger body really help someone become a better man?
