1970s in India. A young, poor street artist P.K. meets a Swedish girl called Lotta, just like an astrologer predicted he would. As he paints her portrait, they feel a really strong bond between them. After Lotta returns home, P.K. grabs a couple of paintbrushes and a worn, rusty bicycle and sets off on a 10,000-kilometre journey – from Delhi to Sweden – determined to see her just one more time.

This is an epic tale of magical love and unbreakable courage. 50 years later, the lovers themselves recount this adventure-filled story. Sometimes, if luck is on your side, it’s worth risking everything for love.
