Become the hero of a new film\u201d brings in Nikola, Ivo and Petra \u2013 three characters who admire Vladimir Putin, seriously doubt the magnitude of the war in Ukraine and self-identify as conspiracy theorists. Accepting the unique opportunity offered by the film\u2019s director \u2013 to travel to Ukraine and witness the war with their own eyes \u2013 they travel to Kharkiv, located 30 km from the Russian border, the former front line, and the graves of fallen Ukrainians. The protagonists of the film face the reality of the war, which contradicts their beliefs. The director explores the deep impact of propaganda, when personal truth becomes more important than other people\u2019s lives.<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #e71d5e;\">The screening on 23 October at Skalvija Cinema will be introduced by Jurgita \u010ceponyt\u0117, a journalist with the LRT Investigation Department.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201e<em>This film is a real treat for those who enjoy the most inconvenient films at Inconvenient Films. For many, it will probably be a journey beyond the boundaries of their social bubble. If that\u2019s you, there will be more than one moment when you\u2019ll want to cover your eyes, sink into your seat, or simply throw something at the screen.<br \/>\nStill, I recommend stepping outside your comfort zone and putting your own reality to the test.
