An incredibly bright autoportrait of an artist who has touched true darkness. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>Love-22-Love<\/em> is an unflinchingly honest love letter to a partner, to oneself, and to life with all its shadows. Through deeply personal video archives, the filmmaker invites us into a world where love and depression coexist, revealing that being loved does not always protect us from our inner demons. As if reaching across different versions of himself, he writes letters to the person he will later need to remember, endure, and ultimately accept.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201eWith remarkable tenderness, Jeroen Kooijmans speaks about the shame of struggling despite being surrounded by love, gently suggesting that healing lies not in hiding our darkness, but in finding the courage to live together with it. Love-22-Love is a film about a love that is not there to heal you, but to remain by your side when <\/em><em>hardships arise.
