Falling in love with your assistant is an oft-repeated story. But what if that assistant is artificial intelligence? Could its love ever be more perfect than a human’s?

Finding Connection explores the increasingly fragile boundary between human connection and conversations with artificial intelligence. AI listens patiently, understands, and always seems to find the right words – unlike people, who bring their own histories, experiences, and unspoken rules into every conversation. Yet it is precisely within this human complexity that the film discovers something impossible to program: a connection that is unpredictable, sometimes uncomfortable, but profoundly real.

More than asking whether effortless conversations create deeper relationships, the film raises a more urgent question: as communication becomes increasingly convenient, will we still be willing to embrace the complexity of being human?

The screening on 10 October at the Cinema Theatre PASAKA (Old Town) will be introduced by Brigita Kaleckaitė, psychotherapist and head of the Vilnius Gestalt Institute. The introduction will be in Lithuanian.

PLEASE NOTE: pay-what-you-can tickets will not be available at Romuva cinema.
