Having concealed her true identity, it is only after her marriage that Gwen takes a step which radically changes not only her own life but also the lives of those closest to her.
Steven has hidden his true identity his entire life, but after his wedding, the long-suppressed truth comes to light. Thus begins a transformative, challenging journey that culminates in the birth of Gwen. In this bold autobiographical film, the filmmaker candidly shares not only her experience of gender transition but also her journey of self-acceptance and her sensitive relationships with loved ones. Through difficult conversations, personal archives, and witty animations, the director unveils a sincere and tender story filled with love and connection.
