Wild, Wild

Step into the deep forests of Galicia and northern Portugal. Listen closely to your senses. Notice the signs left by wild life. This film essay is a nature anti-documentary: wolves here stare back at the camera, frightened, while humans howl and make noise in the darkness of night. Wild, Wild challenges the constructed simulacra of nature imagery and rethinks the relationship between humans and non-humans. Attempts to separate these two worlds become meaningless when we recognize the flow of ecosystems: everything that makes up our world belongs and will belong to other forms of life.
