In a remote area near Kharkiv, Viktor swings his sword, inspired by samurai films he watches with his mother on an old TV set. When the Russian invasion begins, he rushes to join the army, eager to defend his country and prove his worth in battle. However, due to his deafness, Viktor is not accepted and instead takes on the role of a press photographer. The impressive sound design and black-and-white cinematography reveal the inner world of a man torn between courage and vulnerability. An aesthetic experience imbued with emotional depth, offering insight into how a deaf person experiences war.
