A family of modern cowboys has a mission: to raise cattle without harming the ecosystem. Giulio and Francesca seek to regenerate the soils on their farm undergoing desertification and to counter the effects of climate change so that their children, 13-year-old Brando and 6-year-old Brianna, can take over their parents’ sustainable business. This path is full of challenges, risks, and pain, but at the same time, it is full of extraordinary beauty, strength, and love for the land. The stunning shots of the Italian landscape, filled with poetic conversations between a daughter and her mother, raise fundamental questions about the weight of choices and coexistence in conditions that are becoming harsher every year.
