Norwegian Democrazy follows Lars Thorsen – the controversial leader of the far-right organization SIAN (Stop the Islamization of Norway) who publicly burns the Quran and spreads Islamophobia and hatred toward immigrants, all under the protection of Norway’s Constitution and its guarantee of freedom of speech. His actions spark outrage, provoke, and elicit responses from the Muslim community, yet according to the law, it is he who receives police protection. Can democracy survive when hatred is spread in its name?
