Fungi: Web of Life

Not quite a plant and not quite an animal, but something in between. Fungi have long fascinated scientists, but still harbour some of nature’s greatest mysteries. With Björk as a magical narrator on the soundtrack and British biologist Dr Merlin Sheldrake as a travelling expert witness, the film digs deep into the intricate fungal web and reveals a subterranean landscape that has existed since the dinosaurs.
