Aida, a child on the autism spectrum, is living a life hindered by society’s rigid structures. Inspired by the example of Greta Thunberg, Aida experiences a political awakening, and decides to fix the things that make life difficult for children on the autism spectrum. With the help of her caregiver mother Johanna, she sets out to fix these structures and create a new future for herself by challenging existing norms in an attempt to advance acceptance and equality. However, political influence takes time and energy – can the daughter-mother duo create real change in a society that only offers sympathy?
