What is the virtual screening room?
It is a platform where the audience is invited to watch almost all of this year’s ‘Inconvenient Films’ movies, except films “Riverboom”, “My Stolen Planet”, “Eternal You”, “Why We Fight” and “Real”, at their own time from 8th to 27th of October.
How do I get access to the virtual screening room?
After purchasing a virtual festival pass or a ticket to a particular film, you can get access to the virtual cinema using one of the methods:
– Click on the link that is enclosed in your festival pass or a virtual ticket.
– Click the pink WATCH button on top of this website, either enter your voucher code in the ‘Ticket Holders’ section or enter your Festival Pass details in the ‘Member login’.
How to watch films?
Press PLAY on a selected film. You can choose the language of subtitles at the bottom of the film player screen.
What are the system requirements?
You can watch content on PCs running Windows 7+, and Intel-based Macs running OSX 10.12+. You can also watch films on Android tablets and phones using Chrome, and on iPhones and iPads using Safari.
Why do I see a small watermark code on my film? Is it possible to remove it?
The code is meant to protect the film from making illegal copies. Unfortunatelly, it is impossible to remove it.
What are the requirements for Windows computers?
Windows 7, Windows 8.1 or Windows 10;
Supported browsers: Google Chrome, Firefox, Microsoft Edge, Opera. We recommend using the latest version of your browser. Internet Explorer is not supported.
What are the requirements for Mac computers?
Mac OSX 10.12 or later;
Supported browsers: Google Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Opera. We recommend using the latest version of your browser.
What should be the internet speed in order to watch films comfortably, without any difficulties?
We recommend 7-10 Mbps speed.
When can I watch films?
You can watch films at any time during the festival from 8th to 27th of October. When you start watching the film (the first time you click PLAY), you have 48 hours to finish watching the film using the same IP address.
How can I change the subtitles?
You can change the subtitles by clicking at the bottom of the film player screen. All films are automatically shown with Lithuanian subtitles.
What is the quality of the films?
All films are prepared in HD (1080p) quality, however, the player adapts and chooses the film quality according to your internet speed in order to avoid technical difficulties.
What happens if I forget my password for the virtual festival pass?
Use the password reset option on the login page to reset your password. You will need access to the e-mail address you use to log in.
