Film Industry Day with ESoDoc

ESoDoc – European Social Documentary is an 8-month-long training initiative promoted by ZeLIG School for Documentary (Bolzano, Italy) and supported by EU’s Creative Europe MEDIA Programme. ESoDoc – celebrating its 20th anniversary this year – addresses media professionals who want to improve their storytelling and co-creative skills, to broaden the potential of their documentary and new media project gaining access to a larger market. The program wants to strengthen the ability for innovative and audience-centered documentary and new media storytelling and helps participants to be a creative and active part in the evolving market dynamics and respond to the trends in ground-breaking, collaborative and interdisciplinary ways.

Since 2017, ESoDoc has been partnering with INCONVENIENT FILMS and holding one of its training sessions in Vilnius during the festival. This year in addition to several days dedicated exclusively to selected participants, the industry program will invite representatives from the film, games, cultural, and creative industries to open events focused on industry changes and challenges. Topics will include a variety of storytelling methods, the involvement of new media, audience design, impact, independent filmmaking, the importance of artificial intelligence, and more.

All public events will be held at Martynas Mažvydas National Library of Lithuania (Gediminas ave. 51, Vilnius).
