Eros + Q&A with Rachel Daisy Ellis

Rachel Daisy Ellis is a Brazilian/British filmmaker based in Recife, Brazil since 2004. She has a master’s degree in Social Policy and Participation. In 2010 she co-founded the production company “Desvia” with director/artist Gabriel Mascaro with the aim of producing films by authors with strong aesthetic visions that provoke us to think about the world in new ways. She produced five features and a short by Gabriel Mascaro, with whom she maintains a strong creative partnership, having co-written three projects with him. “Eros” is her first feature film as a director. Currently, a short documentary is being produced and two feature-length documentaries are in the research phase.
