Samsara was selected for the 78th Venice VR Film Festival and also won the Jury Award of the SXSW and Best VR Story of the Cannes XR competition. We abandon the Earth and find a new home in space. After many years of space travel, we have re-engineered our DNA and artificially evolved into a new form. We jumped through the space singularity and found a new planet to settle on. Many years go by until we suddenly realise that we didn’t reach a new world but instead returned to Earth in another time as a different life form, and our ancestors now are predators to us. Several attempts are made to leave Earth which lead back to it. Then, we realise that time is an illusion; our past, present, and future are fused together.
The works from the NK-INTERACTIVE programme will be on show from 18-28 October in the basement of the Museum of the Radvilas Palace.
