Education No Matter What – A Special Screening for Schools

Education is a fundamental right and need of children. Although humanitarian crises around the world can disrupt the education of children and youth, it is crucial to give them hope for a brighter future, to restore a sense of normalcy and security. INCONVENIENT FIMS October 20th, 1 p.m. invites schools to the cinema Forum Cinemas Vingis (Hall 3) in Vilnius for a special screening of two short films – Away and When I grow up – which will be accompanied by a meeting and conversation with the head of the European Commission’s representation in Lithuania Marius Vaščega and the Lithuanian Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Jovita Neliupšienė about how we – citizens of Lithuania and the European Union – can contribute to ensuring the education of children in crisis, regardless of anything.

The access to the event is free of charge, but pre-registration of participating classes is required by filling out this form. The session is intended for high school students (from 13 years old).

You can find out more about the European Commission’s #EducationNoMatterWhat campaign on the dedicated website.
