“One day I felt alone, and I thought of my elder sister Iona.” Thus begins the film by Rareş Ienasoaie which can also be considered a cinematic journey of rediscovery of a lost person. Of course, Iona is lost in a figurative way. She lives as a vagabond driving her camper in France and is addicted to morphine. The film is an intimate portrait of reconciliation between siblings who haven’t seen each other for six years. To quote Ienasoaie: “We start talking like never before, deep into the dark of the night.”
