Sitting in his chair in his living-room, Avi Mograbi narrates to us how to establish a military occupation. His example is the Israeli occupation of the Palestiniam Territories in the West Bank and Gaza Strip. Giving examples from Israeli soldiers back from service, the director constructs an image of an occupation that is as cruel as it is arbitrary. A deeply ironic look at the perhaps the most discussed military conflict of the last 50 years, explaining why saying “both sides are bad” is simply not a valid opinion.
