SynopsisThe French plantation owners on the Caribbean island of Martinque had their gardens tended with no interest in preserving natural biodiversity. And while officially colonialism might have been eradicated, the harm to not only social and political life of the region, but to nature itself, is continuing to happen through the use of pesticides in the vast banana plantations. In this instance fighting colonialism includes literally putting your hands in the dirt and fighting for the plants that have been near-eradicated.
