Bonifac ‘Softie’ Mwangi, an activist who has been fighting injustices in Kenya for many years, decides to run in the regional elections. ‘Softie’ meets every challenge optimistically, even after his wife’s not very supportive reaction to his plans. However, a ‘clean’ election campaign, with its own idealism as its main engine and source, is not so easy. The challenge he poses to corrupt political dynasties is fast becoming a real threat to the family. Is the welfare of the country more important than the family?
