SynopsisSince 2016, Chechnya’s tyrannical leader Razman Kadyrov has started a violent war on the LGBTQ+ community in the country, leading to arrests, torture and execution of civilians for their sexual orientation. Director David France follows the network of activists helping members of the community escape abroad and fixates his camera on the people who through no fault of their own are seen as parasites in their own homeland.
