What is the virtual cinema?
It is a platform where the audience is invited to watch this year’s ‘Inconvienient Films’, to attend Watch Parties and Webinars.
How do I get access to the virtual cinema?
After purchasing a Festival Pass or a ticket to a particular film, you can get access to the virtual cinema using one of the methods:
– Click on the link that is enclosed in the Festival Pass or ticket.
– Click the pink WATCH button on top of this website, either enter your voucher code in the ‘Ticket Holders’ section or enter your Festival Pass details in the ‘Member login’.
How to watch films?
Press PLAY on a selected film. You can choose the language of subtitles at the bottom of the film player screen.
What are the system requirements?
You can watch content on PCs running Windows 7+, and Intel-based Macs running OSX 10.12+. You can also watch films on Android tablets and phones using Chrome, and on iPhones and iPads using Safari.
Why do I see the code while watching a film? Is it possible to remove it?
The code is meant to protect the film from making illegal copies. Unfortunatelly, it is impossible to remove it.
What are the requirements for Windows computers?
Windows 7, Windows 8.1 or Windows 10;
Supported browsers: Google Chrome, Firefox, Microsoft Edge, Opera. We recommend using the latest version of your browser. Internet Explorer is not supported.
What are the requirements for Mac computers?
Mac OSX 10.12 or later;

What should be the internet speed in order to watch films comfortably, without any difficulties?
We recommend 7-10 Mbps speed.
What is a Watch Party?
Watch Parties are film screenings that are shown at a particular time, inviting people to watch a film together. After the film screening, we invite you to a meeting with filmmakers, actors or experts. English is the spoken language in most of these meetings.
What are the two fields in the Watch Party section?
The field on the top is for submitting your questions – only the moderator will be able to see these submissions. The main chat field is for sharing greetings and thoughts with other audience members.
What should I do if I am experiencing technical difficulties while attending a Watch Party?
-Try coming closer to the internet router or restarting it.
-Try updating your internet browser or choosing a different browser.
If these methods do not work, watch the film first and after you are done, try connecting to the live meeting by pressing LIVE. If you are still experiencing technical difficulties, do not worry, we are going to publish recorded video in the EVENTS section.
When can I watch films?
-You can watch films at any time during the festival (October 7-18th). When you start watching the film (the first time you click PLAY), you have 48 hours to finish watching the film.
-Watch Party events are happening at a particular time.
Can I download films?
How can I change film’s subtitles?
You can change the subtitles by clicking at the bottom of the film player screen. All films are automatically shown with Lithuanian subtitles.
What is the quality of the films?
All films are prepared in HD (1080p) quality, however, the player adapts and chooses the film quality according to your internet speed in order to avoid technical difficulties.
What should I do if I am unable to download the purchased film ticket?
-If you manage to see the ticket, but for some reason cannot download it, take a picture/screenshot of the ticket or write down the code / the link. In order to watch the film, you will need to enter your code or click on the link.
-If you did not get a chance to open or download the ticket and now you cannot find it, CONTACT US. The easiest way to do that is by clicking on the pink bubble that can be found on the bottom right of this website. We are going to inform you what is your code.
What happens if I forget my Festival Pass password?
Use the password reset option on the login page to reset your password. You will need access to the e-mail address you use to log in.
