Synopsis

A 20-year-old Alina Shilova lives in Kyiv. She is a professional football player and a bright future lies ahead of her. But there is one if… If only she continues her training. Suddenly her mother dies, leaving behind Alina’s siblings, Renat and Regina, who are 6 and 7 years old. Her career and a chance to escape poverty are on the verge of collapse. Football or family? What should she choose? Sometimes to play a home game is much more challenging than an away game. This paradox of life is masterfully revealed in Alisa Kovalenko’s second documentary feature.
