October 13 at 10pm we invite you to the party “Inconvenient Music #3 with Gender Wrongs” in Paviljonas (Pylimo str. 21B, Vilnius).
We are inviting everyone to come straight from “Inconvenient Film” festival to the dance floor of „Inconvenient Music #3″ organised together with a queer basketball team “GENDER WRONGS“.
We will dance around surrounded by colours freeing ourselves from gender norms, constructs that sometimes constrain us and also try to leave our daily challenges behind.
This evening is related to „Inconvenient Films” programme „WHAT’S YOUR STORY?” and the film “My body is political“, that invites us to think about our bodies and realise that depending on our gender expression – want it or not – our bodies can carry a political message.
For some film protagonists – trans* people – it is their daily struggle for survival and a wish to be themselves.
