30 10 2015   Audience Choice Award goes to “The Yes Men Are Revolting”

It took a while to calculate votes of almost 8500 festival viewers in Vilnius. Every year the Audience Choice Award goes to the film that viewers of "Inconvenient Films" loved the most. This year the award goes to "The Yes Men Are Revolting", which overtook "Just Eat It: a Food Waste Story" and "Something Better to Come" by narrow margin.

24 10 2015   “When We Talk About KGB” to close the festival in Vilnius

An international premier of the film "When We Talk About KGB" by Virginija Vareikytė and Maxi Dejoie was chosen as closing nigh film of the 9th edition of "Inconvenient Films", taking place on Saturday night in Vilnius. "We are excited to close the festival with a Lithuanian film. It is an inconvenient, but very important documentary for Lithuanian society. I hope the premier at the festival will serve as a great start for this film and it will reach the hearts of the viewers." - says Gediminas Andriukaitis, director of the festival.
